Today, Chamartín is one of the classic districts of Madrid. It is a residential neighbourhood with a lot of local commerce and ample green areas. Its portals are a characteristic hallmark of 1970s design, where wood and stone provide a unique identity. This is what inspired the Proyecto Singular studio to carry out the interior design and layout of the project.
Chamartín de la Rosa was once a quaint village situated in the northern part of Madrid, primarily dedicated to dry farming and orchards. Over time, it evolved from a village into a neighboring town. As Madrid expanded, Chamartín was incorporated into the city in June 1948.
Today Chamartín, the entire area that includes Nueva España and its surroundings, is one of the classic districts of Madrid. It is a residential neighborhood with a lot of local commerce and ample green areas.
